Scotland is world renowned for its hunting and shooting experiences and Leys Castle is no different with its rich heritage of country sports. Walking across the heather under the shadow of a magnificent mountain waiting for Red Grouse to break cover, or stalking a proud Red Deer stag in all its glory sends a tingle through your bones.

Our gamekeepers will use their local knowledge to get the best out of the day - whether you're an experienced huntsman or a beginner to the sport.

Delicious picnics out in the hills during the day are often rounded off by a hearty supper, a dram or two and sometimes a wee bit of Highland dancing.
